d4!, which like another poster, I'm still finding good stuff in it after so long. Overall a great effort from Richard, at least on par with his Play 1. In fact, his explanations in this book are even better at starting out a novice, than many other titles in the Starting Out series! The best part of the book is Richard's nice explanations of typical plans and positions.
